Clover Field

Clover Field is a 4-block/ 5-color linoleum block print made in oil based ink on Japanese Kitikata Paper. The print is 6x8” and the image size is about 5x7” featuring clover leaves and clover flowers in shades of greens and purple with a fat swallowtail caterpillar in the corner. This is a limited edition print of just 33. The print is also offered in a single-color single block print in pthalo green in a limited edition of 34.

This print is an ode to childhood whimsy and the feeling of laying on your belly in the middle of the grass and seeing life so small thriving in a patch of green and purple. A plump swallowtail caterpillar, fat with spring abundance, munches his way through the field. Spring has awoken and life is flourishing ☘️
